Trident pushes fashion forward

New York – Trident is dialing up the fashion quotient on the floor while also showing off its technical prowess as a vertical manufacturer.
At New York Home Fashions Market this week, the company has pulled bedding and bath together in coordinated lifestyle presentations that address key trends. Vignettes include relaxed luxury, with linens and linen blends; 100% organic bedding and a range of washed techniques.
Bath shows an abundance of new offerings as well. The mill has nearly doubled its jacquard capacity, much of which had previously been dedicated to beach towel production. With more horse power available, the company is featuring a large array of jacquard bath towels – including a unique 3-color tonal jacquard.

Other highlights include:
- The “Trident Tech Lab” display spotlights new qualities in sheets, including the All In One sateen construction, which is stain-release, wrinkle resistant, odor protecting and highly breathable.
- The quilt wall, which shows off all of Trident’s in-house stitching techniques.
- A Back-to-College presentation emphasizes the key item classifications in bedding and bath the drive sales for the season.
In addition, Trident has tied up with Material ConneXion, the global materials library known for uncovering cutting-edge technologies across a plethora of industries.
