TATJANA AHMED - HOUSEKEEPING MANAGER, GRAND HYATT DUBAI
Tatjana Ahmed is currently the Housekeeping Manager at Grand Hyatt Dubai. She started her career in hospitality management in 1983 in Germany and was transferred with Inter-Continental Hotels to the UAE in 1989. Since then, she has worked for various Hotels in the Middle East including Inter-Continental Dubai, Jumeirah Beach Hotel (pre-opening) and Sheraton Jumeirah, before joining Hyatt Hotels situated in Dubai in 2001. She is a “Functional Specialist Housekeeping” for Hyatt International and assists sister hotels in the region during pre-opening as well as she carries out operational reviews of the Rooms Division Departments. Awarded as Housekeeper of the Year in 2008 and 2010 by Hotelier Middle East, she writes a monthly column for the Clean Middle East Magazine and is Chairwoman of the UAE Professional Housekeepers Group.

Pamini Hemaprabha is an experienced Executive Housekeeper and master trainer who has been in Senior Leadership positions in this field for major luxury hospitality groups throughout the Middle East, Africa and India. Pamini Hemaprabha is also a Rooms Division Specialist for all Kempinski hotels in India, Middle East and Africa. She is the winner of ‘Best Housekeeper 2014 award’ at the Hotelier Middle East awards held in Dubai 2014. Apart from her Executive Housekeeper role she is also a Master Trainer for Kempinski Worldwide hotels, which involves her travelling around the world to spread awareness of the Kempinski’s brand standards.

With over 12 years’ experience in housekeeping in the hospitality sector, covering hotels and serviced apartments, Lakmal Mawella is passionate about ensuring guest comfort.
Lakmal started his journey as a Housekeeping Room Attendant, and his skills and enthusiasm was quickly recognised enabling him to progress in his career before joining Emaar Hospitality Group as an Assistant Housekeeping Manager in 2008.
