In the recent years Dubai has seen a number of fashion brands enter the hospitality market with the entry of Armani Hotel and Bulgari. Now, the emirate is set to see the entry of the first hotel by the Roberto Cavalli Group.
Dubai developer Damac Properties revealed a global hotel hospitality partnership with fashion house Roberto Cavalli Group.
Under the terms of the deal, Roberto Cavalli will develop interiors for at least five luxury Damac hotels under the ‘Aykon Hotels with interior design by Roberto Cavalli’ brand.
The first of these will be a 220-room five-star hotel in Dubai Marina’s Al Sufouh area and is scheduled for completion by 2023.
The Dubai Media City hotel will have views of the Dubai Media City skyline and Dubai Marina, while the Roberto Cavalli Hotel will feature an infinity pool overlooking the Palm Jumeirah, including a private majlis. The property will also have a host of F&B outlets.
This is the first of five hotels expected to open in the next 10 years around the world.
