A. Ronai (Eastern) Ltd was established in 1947, by Mr Alexander Ronai. The business was set up to supply Greece and Turkey with mechanical equipment. The strength of the company was its commitment to service. Today our philosophy has not changed but the products that we sell are completely unrecognisable from those we sold sixty years ago.

In 1999, based on the cornerstone of our relationship with Simon Jersey, we made a conscious decision to turn ourselves into a specialist hospitality supplier, to the Middle East. We now represent some of the world’s leading hospitality companies, including Simon Jersey, Liddell, Snap Drape, Oneida, Steelite and Glass & Co. For all the companies that we represent we do so on an exclusive basis and we work very closely with the supplier to provide the best service possible.

In 2005 a partner company in Dubai was formed, A. Ronai LLC, to help to support and grow our Middle East business.

Our group employs over thirty staff.

With Simon Jersey we supply the majority of 5* Hotels in the Middle East with uniforms. We are also a major supplier to Emirates Airlines, Dubai Duty Free, Hertz and Avis.

Simon Jersey supply over US$40 million of uniforms per year around Europe and the Middle East.

Simon Jersey employs over 200 direct employees and manufactures all over the world, but predominately in Portugal. They have been trading for over 35 years.
